Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to cordially invite you to our Thorax Symposium again this year. Our goal is to offer you a practical program with current developments and new perspectives in thoracic medicine.
The focus will be on networking within the oncological network of the Evangelical Augusta Ruhr Association, new aspects of lung cancer screening, and technical innovations such as the Ion bronchoscopy robot and da Vinci robotics for lung resections.
The program will be complemented by contributions on pulmonary emphysema from the Herne Emphysema Center, including emphysema surgery with ECMO, as well as updates on lung cancer therapy and side effects of modern immunotherapies.
Afterward, we cordially invite you to a joint conclusion with a lunch snack and look forward to a personal exchange with you.
