At Thoraxzentrum Ruhrgebiet, interdisciplinary tumor conferences are held three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). These serve for discussing tumor patients, exchanging experiences, and debating the most suitable diagnostics and therapy, taking into account the latest medical guidelines, findings from the newest specialized literature, and the personal expertise of the participating chief physicians, senior physicians, and specialists from all disciplines. Currently, almost 2000 patients are presented annually in approximately 184 conferences.
