The Thoraxzentrum Ruhrgebiet has a contractual cooperation with the University Hospital for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of Ruhr University Bochum, led by Director Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Lücke, and the Department of Pediatric Pulmonology located there, led by Senior Physician Dr. med. Folke Brinkmann.
This cooperation also includes ensuring the timely presence of a pediatrician and adolescent medicine specialist on-site at the Thoraxzentrum, if required.
