Spectrum of Treatment

Together with surgical and chemotherapeutic treatment options, radiation therapy completes the medical spectrum of treatment necessary for curing cancer, thereby enabling new, forward-looking, more effective, and at the same time better-tolerated treatment options.

The enormous technical progress of recent years enables the use of new high-precision radiation techniques, which allow for very precise and gentle irradiation with fewer side effects and equal or even better tumor control.

In addition to all standard treatments, the following high-precision radiation options are offered:

  • Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
  • Rapid IMRT (RapidArc)
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery
  • Respiratory Gating (RPM)
  • Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) and Cone Beam CT during irradiation
  • Radiochemotherapy
  • Brachytherapy
