COPD

Every patient who meets the inclusion criteria is presented at the weekly emphysema therapy case conference.

Registration can be completed by a staff member or by private practice pulmonologists via email to info@thoraxzentrum-ruhrgebiet.de.

The case conference typically takes place on Fridays at 1:00 PM. It is held in the presence of at least one specialist in pulmonology, thoracic surgery, and radiology.

Following the case discussion and review of all findings, a written recommendation is formulated and saved in the patient’s file as “Emphysema Therapy Case Conference.”
