Een groot voordeel hierbij is onze multidisciplinaire samenwerking binnen het Thoraxcentrum Ruhrgebied. In het oncologisch centrum Augusta vinden regelmatig multidisciplinaire overleggen plaats, waarbij de verschillende vakafdelingen (thoraxchirurgie, radiotherapie, oncologie en andere) vertegenwoordigd zijn. Als aanvullende therapie\u00ebn of ingrepen nodig zijn, nemen wij contact op met samenwerkende behandelpartners. Op die manier kunnen wij een optimale zorg waarborgen. Daarnaast bieden wij onze pati\u00ebnten ondersteunende begeleiding via een psycho-oncologische dienst en via een maatschappelijk werk.
