The Thoraxzentrum Ruhrgebiet is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evk-herne.de\/medizin-pflege\/zertifizierte-zentren\/lungenkrebszentrum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">certified Lung Cancer Center<\/a> of the German Cancer Society (Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft) and a German reference site for medical technology companies Covidien, Hitachi, Olympus, and Karl Storz. At our two locations in Herne-Eickel and Bochum, we treat over 12,500 outpatient and 8,500 inpatient individuals each year.
