In a specially designated area in our clinic, we do everything we can to meet the needs of our patients and their relatives.<\/p>\n<p>A dedicated and empathetic team of palliative care physicians, palliative care nurses, social service staff, psychologists, chaplains, and volunteers from the Diakonie, as well as our pain service, ensure the patient&#8217;s well-being. We plan further care in a weekly palliative care meeting. We also maintain close contact with the coordinators of the Palliativnetz Bochum e.V. facility.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal is to stabilize patients through their inpatient stay to the point where they can be discharged from the clinic.
